Seattle Pacific University Launch

For the past six years, Seattle Pacific University (SPU) and their dining services (managed by Sodexo) have collaborated to offer a campus-wide reusable container program. The University has replaced all single-use takeout containers in their main dining hall, Gwinn Commons, with polypropylene reusable clamshells.

Reusies 2023

Reuse Seattle has been selected as a finalist for the 3rd Annual Reuse Awards, The Reusies, presented by Upstream. We are deeply honored that this project is being considered among those who are at the forefront of innovating reuse solutions and working toward a waste-free future. VOTE for Reuse Seattle to win in the Community Action of the Year Building Reuse category!

Zoo Tunes Launch

In summer of 2022, a first of its kind reusable cup system was launched at a number of live music venues in Seattle with reusable cup company r.Cup. The first venue to launch the r.Cup system was the Woodland Park Zoo at their ZooTunes Summer Concert Series, which began in June.
